"Our training started with body building, push ups, trampoline, rope climbing, tumbling, arm and leg exercises and running. In fact, none of us were allowed to move outside our barracks and NOT run. Run to the mess hall, run to the exercise field, run to the hangar or anywhere on base."

There were times while running that I lost complete feeling in my ankles, but with time I got to a point that I could stay with the best of them."
