During the last several years, Don Lassen has published my column THE THREE WINDS OF DEATH in the Static Line.  Whilst there is not enough space (and time) to reproduce them all here, we are extracting various portions from them which we trust are of continuing interest both to Troopers and to those students of military history interested in the 503rd PRCT.

Thanks also go to Bennett Guthrie, who originally gave me permission to use the title of his book as the title of my column, to Don Lassen who has published my column all these years, and to Paul Whitman who has developed these extracts for the 503rd website.
