BATTERY CRAIGHILL, PIT A

Two 12-inch Mortar M1912 on 12-inch Mortar Carriage M1896M3.  Originally, Battery Craighill was  intended to be two semi-independent batteries,  but became Pit A and Pit B. At the rear of Pit A are the Battery Plotting Rooms.
