Each archive is navigated via a card index system.  The first-level MASTER CARD INDEX has several cards (see the numbers at the foot of each card.) Clicking on the "GO TO INDEX" will take you to the second-level INDEX CARDS, generally containing up to nine thumbnail links per card. The index cards can be cycled through by using the BACK X NEXT controls.  The X should close the window. Click on the thumbnail to visit an enlargement at the third-level. If there's a magnifying glass on the page, a further enlargement may be available. All the prints and cards within a collection can be cycled through using the BACK/NEXT controls. The Button at the bottom right of the cards will return you to the General Index. The  MASTER INDEX arrow will return you to this first-level set of cards.

We believe in the treasure hunt philosophy of navigation. We won't take you to the 'treasures' directly. You have to look.

This feature requires Java and ActiveX (the Microsoft equivalent of Java) to be enabled.
