LT. WILLIAM T. CALHOUN

With John Mara, "D" Co.  I came into Bacolod by C-47 from Leyte after release from hospital. 2nd Bn minus "E" Co was at Pulapandan waiting to go to Dumaguette, so I went to them. Next morning, we left on an LSM for Dumaguette. Jack and I are shooting the breeze on the fantail of the LSM. When we unloaded I was sent right back to Fabrica, to command "E" Co. - almost within the hour. It was a mere 14 hour jeep trip.
