Fate: Transferred to 380BG. Destroyed 5 July 44 380th BG 529th BS slammed into cloud shrouded mountain while on a weather recce to Ceram. Only the weather observer survived (Author H. Gill Jr.) the crash to be captured. He died of malnutrition before VJ Day. The Pilot was Harold A. Thornton.
