HOUSE CLEARING

In one of the streets of Manila,  its name lost to history,  a scene is repeated showing the vicious fighting that occurred throughout the city. A flamethrower squad, amidst large numbers of shell casings littering the street,  clears a high-rise building of  Japanese troops.  Kneeling down, the operator is covered by two other team members as he targets the front entrance of a high-rise building. The flamethrower is of the M2-2 backpack type.
