AWAITING IDENTIFICATION

Mikel was one of Turley's close friends in "F" Company.
- he had signed a piece of Turley's parachute canopy. Mikel
had married in Australia without the Army's permission, and had been
very concerned that, in the event of his death, his wife would be
left without support. Curiously, Mikel had put his wife's
address at Wakefield, Sydney, as his address - perhaps to record her
address as unofficial next of kin. The landscape looks to be of
Mindoro.
