GERARD WEBER strikes a "I have been working hard
with my machete" pose, though he hardly seems to have worked up a
sweat. -
He is leaning on a
Chevrolet 1 1/2 ton 4x4 Cargo Dump Truck (G7106 or G7116). Chevrolet
built large numbers of one and a half ton closed cab trucks. The
cargo body was a relatively short nine foot long, some of whih were
fitted with a hydraulic cylinder which could operate the dump
mechanism. They were powered by a Chevrolet 235 cu. in, 83 hp. six
cyl engine, mated to a four speed transmission and two speed
transfer case. |
