WATER TRANSPORT -
I doubt this is the USAT SEA CAT - the men have helmets,
kit and weapons issued - my guess is that it is our being withdrawn
from Corregidor, heading back towards Mindoro. Just as easily, it
could be the withdrawal from Negros Oriental to Dumaguete - for an
airborne regiment, the 503d spent a lot of time on boats. Sometimes,
there's just no way to tell.
