An KIA is referred to without being named:

"Japanese mortar shells also began falling on the beach, causing more casualties and confusion. A jeep and the anti-tank gun it was towing took direct hits. The jeep driver survived the mortar blast but was machine-gunned while diving for cover."

No CRESENZO appears in the KIA database provided by the 34th IR, and the inclusion should be considered provisional only.

A search of the enlistment database does not yield the singular  surname "Cresenzo" so it is possible the casualty is one of the two "De Cresenzo's listed."
