1600 Local security patrols and patrol # 15 report nil,
activity. |

Left Co 24 Aug 1945 at 1300 Mission to remove mine field. Field was
located but due to vegatation and the fact that rain had washed sand
over mines the Engineers would not attempt removal. Japs were reported
as being in the area unaware of wars end. Patrol returned 1900 25 Aug
45. |
