THURSDAY 1 MARCH 1945 IS DAY 14 OF THE CORREGIDOR OPERATION, D+13.

Organized resistance ends, though random cave and tunnel closures and random incoming sniper fire continue. Preparation for MacArthur visit.

   Lighthouse & water tank area area.   F Co have been reduced to three officers (Bailey, LaVanchure & Calhoun) and have been relegated to the reserve bench. Only Bailey and Calhoun are able to walk - LaVanchure has two broken ankles from the jump. more
