IMPORTANT THINGS & TECHNICAL STUFF

You're reading this for free, so humor us, eh? This is not some long-winded crap.

The website is a 'free to air' internet educational asset. It's not an 'entertainment' vehicle for casual web-surfers or people in a hurry. It assumes that you are seeking resources or perspectives which you just can't find elsewhere.

So we make no apologies for the sometimes chaotic navigation, or that the best and rarest items are hidden away somewhere. That's deliberate. We believe that treasures come in accordance with depth of commitment.

COMPATIBILITY

Not every Internet Browser handles FP/JAVA language equally. Internet Explorer (version 8 and above) is required. The website was developed using Microsoft FrontPage, and some of its features will not display identically Mozilla Firefox. Pages which may close easily on IE will not close on Firefox. Banners will not scroll, some backgrounds in tables will disappear, some animated buttons may not animate, and some photographs may be obscured by text.

POPUPS, PRIVACY & TRACKING

The website uses NO pop-up advertisements, does not use cookies, and makes no record of who is accessing it. There are NO data-miners, and NO hidden pop-ups.

FONTS

The website has been developed with a range of fonts. If your computer does not have these fonts installed, a page may appear differently, and we have no control over what they'll look like.

If this text doesn't look like it's been typed on a vintage typewriter, then you don't have the primary font which is used throughout the website, "P22 TYPEWRITER." Here's how to get it, and see the website as it was designed.

E-MAIL ADDRESSES - WHY THE ZZ'S?

Websites are one of the main sources which the junk-mail web-bots scour for e-mail addresses. To prevent this, we have added z's before and after the @ in each e-mail address on the site. Simply remove the z's and the address should be correct. When the web-bots learn the trick, we'll use another letter or symbol.

PRIVACY OF MEMBERS ON THE BULLETIN BOARD

Details of members will be available to other members only, and any commercial or nuisance use of members details is strictly prohibited. Suspension of privileges is at the complete discretion of the webmaster.

DONATIONS AND SPONSORSHIP

The website is privately funded by a small group of private benefactors who believe that it reflects the values which they espouse. Dues and donations go towards internet hosting costs, acquisition of code which is beyond this webmeister's meager competency, and to assist in gathering further materials. ( And other than for beer and women, the rest I just waste!)

Generally, the larger the screen resolution, the more you'll see of the web page. As these can differ according to individual machines, eyesight factors and personal preferences, we've designed the pages at 1024x768. To adjust your Windows preferences, right click your mouse on the desktop and left-click Properties. Then choose Settings, and adjust as you prefer.
