Cladney, 06967893, for exemplary conduct in action against the enemy in combat operations in New Guinea. (Retroactive to 1 January 1944).

           3. UP Par 6B (1) circular 408, 1944 VOCO 1 August 1945, withdrawing award of the Combat Infantryman’s Badge to Pfc Horace W. Cladney, 06967893, 503d Parachute Infantry is hereby confirmed and made of record.

           4. UP D Circular 269, 1943, as amended by Section IV, D Circular 150, 1944, D Circular 186, 1944, the Combat Infantryman’s Badge is awarded Pfc Robert E. Grace, 38600382, Hq & Hq Co 503d Prcht Inf for exemplary conduct in action against the enemy in combat operations in Corregidor, P.I. (Retroactive to 16 February 1945).

           5. PURPLE HEART-Under the provisions of AR 600-45, as amended, a Purple Heart is awarded by the Commanding Officer, 503d Regimental Combat Team to the following named EM:
